pretty good for the $$
I bought this product for my dad for his birthday. I updated the maps for him before giving it to him, and took it for a test drive.

Poor construction on my unit
After 13 months (expired warranty) the connector at the rear of the unit became so loose I cannot charge the battery anymore as it doesn’t make a connection when plugged in.

So far so go. worked right out of the box. a few outdated ‘points of interest’ and a few that are missing. speaker could be a bit higher in quality.

Great unit
I already had an older StreetPilot unit which still works perfectly. Bought the Nuvi 260 for our 2nd car and to take along on a recent trip.

got me there!
Bought this Garmin mainly to avoid paying for GPS in rental cars and because I have no sense of direction. Directions and voice are very clear.

Good product
I am pleased with my Garmin Nuvi. Since I had previously owned an older Garmin, I was familiar with the quality of the Garmin.

I am totally frustrated
This GPS worked fine for the limited period of time that it worked at all.
It begin giving messages that it needed to be charged. I charged it and it died completely.

GPS for car
This was a gift for my daughter. She had good things to say. I finally got to use it myself and found it to be a great machine. It was very easy to use.

This one sucked
I love Garmin but had to return this one. It took forever to pick up the satellites. I tried everything from restarting to resetting and always had signal issues.
