Solus Pro mapping software for Palm OS handhelds is an affordable program for the PDA user on the go. This useful program from DeLorme offers comprehensive, communicative maps with all of the important information that you need to be well organized, while on the road or navigating through your own hometown. Installing Solus Pro can be a bit tricky. In most cases of installing PDA software, the user expects the necessary components to install automatically after a sync operation. However, with this application, the user must enter the program, and manually add Solus Pro and any desired maps to the sync list. After it has been installed, Solus Pro is an extremely valuable program. Ten different cities are available to download to your Palm OS device, accompanied by a Web site within which any user can find just about any place in the U.S. The user can access detailed vector maps and directions for quick searching; find streets, addresses, and address-book contacts; zoom to five levels; customize maps; and control the map features that are best to display for each user.
