Tomtom Go Live 740 a bit disappointing
I bought this GPS to replace my stolen Garmin Nuvi 350 after researching both at Amazon and elsewhere. It was a toss up between the Go 730/740 and the Nuvi 780.

Screen is NOT as bright as my older TomTom 930!
I’ve owned TomTom’s for years and in fact…my first GPS unit was a TomTom that I purchased for $1000.00! Yes…prices have come way down since then.

Live services not available
The product’s selling point for me was its “Live Services”. However, TomTom does not have a map showing areas of service.
